John Cena is helping to give away $38,340 as part of the promotion for his new movie Jackpot! Oh, and a lifetime’s supply of chicken wings.

Americans can enter to win a prize consisting of a bar of gold, $5,000 worth of chicken wings, and a check for $10,000. The bar of gold is said to be worth $23,340.

Click here to enter the Jackpot! Jackpot. But be careful with a prize so good people might want to kill you for it.

Wow! That got pretty dark. How uncalled for.

Well, actually, no.

Jackpot! Movie

Jackpot! the movie takes place in the year 2030. Not much has changed but there’s now a Californian lottery in which if you murder the winner before sundown you can legally claim the prize.

Also, California is economically challenged now. Hence why a big money prize would turn everyone to murder.

Awkwafina plays the lead role of clueless Katie who wins the multi-billion dollar lottery ticket without trying.

John Cena plays the role of guy who protects her from getting killed.

They go on a road trip chased by people desperate enough to win the big money prize they’d kill for it.

Any Wrestling?

Yes! Cena spends most of the movie flinging people out of the direction of Awkwafina. At one point he smashes someone’s head through a wall. If the movie is anything to go by Cena has plenty of wrestling left in the tank.

Also, Awkwafina grabs a manikin head and launches that at a potential killer whilst screaming ‘Who wants some head!’. Prepare the TM infringement Al Snow.

When, Oh When Can I Watch It?

You can see the trailer below. But you’ll have to wait until Jackpot! drops on Amazon Prime on August 15, 2024.

The action-comedy is directed by Paul Feig, who you may know from Bridesmaids, Heat and Ghostbusters.
