After the brutal and violent NWA Samhain, the National Wrestling Alliance is back for another rousing edition of their flagship wrestling show NWA Powerrr. This Tuesday marks the season 16 premiere of the program and the first time we will deal with the fallout from the barbaric October pay-per-view from the legacy promotion. Strap yourselves in as we preview the season premiere of NWA Powerrr. Let’s run it down.
Not Announced But Expected for NWA Powerrr:
The “Agent” Wreaks Havoc
Back at NWA Samhain, former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona went to Cleveland, Ohio, and demanded a shot at the “belt that’s rightfully his” from NWA head William Patrick Corgan. Unfortunately, he ate a spear from Kamille for his efforts.
Later, during the main event of current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion EC3 and Thom Latimer, Cardona would interfere, putting somewhat of a dark cloud over an otherwise excellent title match. Cardona isn’t done, not by a long shot. The NWA Nation should expect “wrestling’s hottest free agent” back in an NWA ring sooner rather than later.
Immortal Champions
After months of waiting, Kratos and Odinson, collectively known as The Immortals, fulfilled their destiny and became the NWA U.S. World Tag Team Champions back at Samhain. They went through hell and back to beat the now former champions Daisy Kill and Talos.
Now that the hunters have become the hunted, how will they respond with teams such as the Brothers of Funstruction, Southern 6, La Rebelión, and many more chomping at the bit to earn an opportunity for that tag team gold?
