WWE makes its return to Salt Lake City tonight as WWE Raw kicks off the week. The first episode of WWE Monday Night Raw under the TKO banner as we’re now a full week into the merger with UFC and Endeavor.

The show is scheduled to take place at the Delta Center in Utah. Home of the Utah Jazz as well as the home of Raw on February 3, 2020. Just days removed from the Royal Rumble that year, it’s the episode that saw Edge make his return as an active performer to WWE Raw but was then attacked by Randy Orton after his attempt to reform Rated RKO fell short.

Thus setting up their Last Man Standing Match for that year’s WrestleMania. However, the COVID-19 pandemic saw the match take place in the WWE Performance Center.

Money In The Bank Rematch

As we await who will take Jey Usos‘ place on SmackDown after Cody Rhodes brought him to Raw, Cody Rhodes himself continues his struggles with The Judgment Day and now finds himself having another match with the NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. The two already had their first match at Money In The Bank where Cody was successful in the match. What will happen this time? Let’s wait and see.

Sins Of The Past

Jey Uso was brought in by Cody Rhodes to be an exclusive part of the Raw brand on Monday Nights as of Payback. Since then, it’s been made very clear that a lot of the Raw roster has not forgotten how Jey Uso has been responsible, alongside the rest of The Bloodline, for many of their failures.

As such, they don’t really favor the arrival of Jey Uso despite Cody Rhodes’, someone else who has fallen short against Roman Reigns for the same reason, endorsement.

One of the people who very well remembers how they’ve suffered at the hands of the The Bloodline is Drew McIntyre. Losing a massive title match to Roman Reigns one year ago at Clash At The Castle due to interference and the main roster debut of Solo Sikoa.

When Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre met backstage, McIntyre called out Jey for seeming to now favor the idea of joining The Judgment Day. And the two settled on meeting in the ring. Can McIntyre prove his point or can Jey Uso successfully convince McIntyre that he has changed?

2/3 Falls

The New Day and Viking Raiders find themselves in a 2/3 falls match, set up after weeks of interactions in the ring. At first, The Viking Raiders were having issues with Matt Riddle and Drew McIntyre. However, as McIntyre’s issues with Jey Uso seem to take precedence, these two teams are now set to clash in the particular match.

It’s rare to see this match type used these days in WWE. It was typically considered a massive feud-ending match for NXT during its well remembered ‘Black & Gold’ days.

Will Nakamura Strike?

Shinsuke Nakamura has been attacking Seth Rollins for many weeks now, focusing on his injured back. Despite falling short at Payback, his attacks on Seth Rollins seem to have guaranteed him a rematch against the World Heavyweight Champion. It’s just that he has yet to name when that match will take place as now for several weeks, he simply brushes off Seth Rollins.

Last week, to continue antagonizing him, he attacked Ricochet saying that because of such, he would be too busy to finally mark his rematch against Seth. However, will he finally name his time and place this week? Or will Ricochet shock him?

All this and more tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw.
