Deonna Purrazzo Earns Knockouts Title Shot at Rebellion

Deonna Purrazzo will receive an IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship match at Rebellion. She defeated Gisele Shaw, Masha Slamovich, and Miyu Yamashita at Multiverse United to earn a shot at the title next month.

Deonna Purrazzo Will Get a Knockouts Title Shot at Rebellion

This match was originally set to be a four-way match for the Knockouts Championship as Mickie James was scheduled to defend against Purrazzo, Shaw, and Yamashita. Mickie James sustained an injury that forced her to withdraw from Multiverse United and the Sacrifice event last week. Masha Slamovich took the place of James in this match, to keep it a four-way. James was scheduled to defend the Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace at Sacrifice. The injury to James changed plans quite a bit.

Now the title will be defended at Rebellion as Purrazzo will take on Grace. If Mickie James is medically cleared she will join the match making it a triple threat. If James is not cleared it will be a singles match between Purrazzo and Grace for the vacated Knockouts Championship.

Purrazzo is a former two-time IMPACT Knockouts World Champion. She lost the title to James as the two of them were locked in a heated feud in 2021 and 2022. The two met in a Texas Death Match at Hard to Kill 2022 in which James defeated Purrrazzo. Purrazzo gets another shot at the title at Rebellion.
