Australian Wrestling Cards Launches To Raging Demand

The world of trading cards has exploded in popularity in recent years, especially here in the world of professional wrestling. However, Australia has been left underserved for wrestling trading card collectors. Until now, thanks to Australian Wrestling Cards.

Australian Wrestling Card

For decades WWE has had its own range of officially licenced cards, when AEW launched they introduced a line of cards. On the indie scene, we’ve seen places like Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG) with fan-made cards for years. We’ve seen places like Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), TNT Extreme Wrestling, Limitless Wrestling, Wrestling Revolver & Capital Championship Wrestling all creating their own trading lines. However, we’ve never seen a trading card line that sits outside of the promotional restrictions to instead focus on a national scale introduced. In steps Australian Wrestling Cards.

Australian Wrestling Cards was created by Pario Magazine as a means to help fill the void for Australian wrestling fans. The creation of Australian Wrestling Cards gives fans yet another way to support their favourite wrestlers & show off their passion.

Each & every set of Australian Wrestling Cards features a range of the best wrestlers, referees & announcers from around the country. Each set has been created in collaboration with the wrestlers/performers & the photographers. Every performer or photographer whose work has been featured on an Australian Wrestling Card has received a licencing payment, so fans who purchase a set of cards can rest assured that they are in fact directly supporting the local independent wrestling scene.

Launched in January Australian Wrestling Cards instantly proved to be a fan favourite with over half of the stock selling out during the pre-sale period. In February when the cards began shipping out the fan & wrestler response was overwhelmingly positive. Many wrestling fans have been getting their cards signed at live shows with many saying the wrestlers were overjoyed to see the passion these cards brought to the scene.

As of writing Wave 1 of Australian Wrestling Cards has sold out, with very limited supplies of Wave 2 & 3 remaining.

Thanks to the fantastic response to the first set Pario Magazine have already begun planning for set 2, which they tell us they are aiming to release later this year. So head over to @AusWresCards on social media & let them know who should be in Set 2.
