Ring of Honor (ROH) returns for episode 3 in the new era tonight. We will see the return of the proving ground matches with Claudio Castagnoli and Athena in action. The Pure Championship will also be defended as Wheeler Yuta takes on Clark Connors. The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships are on the line as Dalton Castle and The Boys look to regain the belts from The Embassy. Other key matchups include Eddie Kingston in action as he tries to gain a shot at the ROH World Championship. Mark Briscoe Will Challenge for the ROH Television Title
Mark Briscoe will officially challenge Samoa Joe at Supercard of Honor for the Television Championship. Joe asked for a real challenge and will get one in the form of Mark Briscoe.
Things Heat Up Between Kingston and Claudio
Eddie Kingston picked up a win over Jeeves Kay. ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli was ringside drinking a cup of coffee during the match, which saw Kingston toss Kay into Claudio making a coffee mess ringside and on Claudio.
The Embassy Runs Into Fox, Christian, and Metalik
The Embassy successfully defended the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Dalton Castle and the Boys. They attacked Castle and The Boys after the match, but AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Gran Metalik made the save.
Aussie Open Calls out Daniels and Sydal
Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal picked up a tag team win over The Outrunners. After the match, Aussie Open appeared and called out Daniels and Sydal for a match.
Wheeler Yuta Calls Out Shibata
Wheeler Yuta successfully defended the ROH Pure Championship over Clark Connors. After the match, he called out Katsuyori Shibata to a pure rules match. The main angle for Yuta is that he is defeating wrestlers that graduated from the NJPW dojo, and is now calling out the trainer.
