ROH Pure Championship: Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Leon Ruffin
Daniel Garcia is quietly on the best singles run of his career. While he has lost in tag team and trios competition, he has not lost a singles match since capturing the ROH Pure Championship. He’ll look to continue that run against former NXT North American Champion Leon Ruffin.
Garcia is, without a doubt, the favorite in this match-up, but with a live underdog like Ruffin, that does not mean nearly as much. Ruffin is at his most dangerous when he’s expected to lose. That’s how he captured the NXT North American Championship from Johnny Gargano.
As much as I would love to see Ruffin score a major upset win, Garcia is on top of his game, and unlike the match Ruffin had with Gargano, Garcia knows who he is facing. This will be a phenomenal match, so do not miss it!
