After making his AEW debut on the November 2 episode of Dynamite, Jeff Jarrett will make his AEWW in-ring debut as he is set to team up with Jay Lethal to take on the undefeated duo of Sting and Darby Allin. Allin was the center of focus during Jarrett’s debut, as he was on the receiving end of a guitar shot to the head from ‘The Last Real Outlaw.’
This will be Jarrett’s third match this year after defeating Effy at January’s The Wrld On GCW show. Jarrett teamed with Lethal in July for Ric Flair’s last match in a losing effort against Ric Flair and Andrade El Idolo.
The match at Full Gear will mark the first time Sting has been in a match since AEW Rampage: Grand Slam back in September. During that event, Sting teamed with Darby Allin in a winning effort against the House Of Black.
On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Saraya confirmed that she had been 100% cleared, saying that AEW was her house. Baker and Saraya ended up getting into a war of words, with Baker saying that she didn’t recall Saraya laying one single brick in AEW. Saraya countered back, mentioning how she fought tough battles publicly and has been wrestling for far longer than Baker, who she accused of getting every opportunity handed to her by Tony Khan. Saraya ended the segment by announcing the match for Full Gear.
Over the last several weeks, Nyla Rose has taken hostage of the TBS title, with Jade Cargill and her baddies failing to get the TBS championship back from Rose. However, in a backstage promo on Wednesday’s show, Cargill promised to handle Nyla on this coming Friday’s Rampage.
