Jake Paul Isn’t Ruling Out One Day Joining Brother Logan Paul in WWE

Could Jake Paul and Logan Paul be WWE Tag Team Champions in the future?

A few weeks ago, WWE made headlines when they announced they had signed social media influencer, content creator, boxer, and entrepreneur, Logan Paul, to a multi-year, multi-match contract. Now, Paul’s younger brother Jake Paul is teasing his own potential road to the squared circle.

Jake Paul Not Ruling Out WWE Run

Earlier this year, at WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul made a huge splash in WWE when he teamed with the Miz to take on and defeat Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik. Paul’s athletic ability and his penchant for being willing to take risks earned him a lot of fans and respect among the locker room that night. Much like his boxing career, which people laughed off, Logan Paul took his WWE appearances and WrestleMania match very seriously. It paid off as Paul was rewarded with a two-year contract that will see him wrestle into 2023 with the potential for a longer-term deal should both parties be interested. Right now, Paul is focused on his SummerSlam debut, where he will take on the Miz in another showcase bout.

Logan Paul’s WWE run has been successful in its short time so far, so much so, that his younger brother Jake Paul is considering his own options of what a career in pro wrestling might look like.

Jake Paul, 25, is currently preparing for another boxing match here he looks to run his undefeated record to 6-0. While Logan has also boxed in some notable celebrity exhibition matches, it is Jake who is endeavoring to make a career out of it. It was certainly an unexpected turn and is one that has generated as much controversy as it has fame. But the social media influencer/content creator/actor/music producer has made it work to his benefit. While some have questioned the quality of the younger Paul’s opponents, one thing that is unquestionable is the stardom and eyes he has brought to the teetering sport. There is no doubt he would do the same for wrestling, should he ever choose to pursue that path.

In a recent interview with WFAN’s Carlton & Roberts, Jake Paul, when asked about a possible WWE run, told the hosts, “Maybe someday, I just can’t get injured right now going off the top rope. That could be interesting. I think we could become the WWE Champions, I don’t think anyone would beat us.”

The prospect of the Paul Brothers as the latest set of brothers to become tag team champions is certainly, as Jake says, an interesting one. Time will tell but it would not be shocking to see both parties show interest. In fact, this is not the first time Jake has teased getting involved in WWE. As a guest on the official WrestleMania pre-show before his brother’s match, Jake, while playing up the role of the heel, told the live audience and host Peter Rosenberg, “I’ll get in the ring…To answer your question, I’m getting in the ring.”

WWE has never shied away from bringing in media personalities and celebrities and Jake Paul certainly fits that bill. Especially now that he’s already had his taste of a raucous WWE crowd. The idea that he could come in and team with Logan in some high-profile tag team matches has to be something that would at least raise a few eyebrows of intrigue among WWE officials.

The most hated tag team in the business could soon become a reality.
