Ace Austin is the new IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion. He defeated former champion Trey Miguel and Speedball Mike Bailey at the Rebellion 2022 pay-per-view.

This ends the first-ever reign as X-Divison Champion for Miguel. This marks the third time as X-Divison Champion for Austin who also won the Super X Cup in 2021. The triple threat match was fast-paced and high energy as one can expect from IMPACT Wrestling’s X-Divison.
Austin has been playing mind games with Mike Bailey over the past few weeks on IMPACT Wrestling. The two found themselves in an every man for himself situation tonight as Austin was able to get the better of both Miguel and Bailey. Austin has secured himself as on of the top competitors in the X-Divison over the past few years. This win adds even more to his argument as one of the best in the X-Divison.
Trey’s reign saw him successfully defend against opponents such as Steve Maclin, Laredo Kid, Rocky Romero, and many others. He also successfully defended the title in an Ultimate-X match a few weeks ago at the Wrestlecon show Multiverse of Matches. Tonight was the night he met his match, however, as Austin is walking out of Rebellion as champion.
