Tuesday night will feature the fallout from NXT 2.0’s Halloween Havoc special. Three new champions were crowned on that very night as Toxic Attraction now holds all the gold in the women’s division and Imperium can call themselves two-time NXT Tag Team Champions. This week’s agenda will continue the stories already at hand as Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis try to keep up their games with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams while Cameron Grimes prepares to bet in Duke Hudson’s Poker Room. Here’s a look at the NXT 2.0 card.
WWE NXT Card (11/2/21)
— Cameron Grimes looks to bet it all in Duke Hudson’s Poker Room
— Dexter Lumis & Johnny Gargano vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
Can the Gargano Family keep up the mind games with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams?
Johnny Gargano wants to return to what made him the star he is today — being “Johnny Wrestling.” That, in his mind, means winning the NXT North American Championship for the third time in his career, and to do that, he has to go through the current champion Carmelo Hayes. Hayes won the championship when he cashed in his NXT Breakout Tournament title opportunity following Isaiah “Swerve” Scott’s win over Santos Escobar. Since then, it’s really been Gargano trying to get one over on the champion and it has worked swimmingly with Dexter Lumis aiding him in the effort.
Last week, Hayes and Williams had to experience the adventure of a lifetime as they worked through Lumis’ haunted house to find the NXT North American Championship. By the time they found it, they were petrified and ran off. Tuesday night will see these two teams battle inside the ring and it should be a telling match as to how badly spooked Hayes is as he prepares for his bout with Gargano in the coming weeks.
