NOSAWA Rongai and Eita Capture the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
In the first title match of the show, NOSAWA Rongai and Eita pulled off a major upset on the brand new GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, Atsushi Kotoge and Hajime Ohara. Rongai and Eita defeated Ohara and Kotoge for the championship, marking it the first time Los Perros del Mal de Japón held championship gold within Pro Wrestling NOAH. This also marks Eita’s first championship within Pro Wrestling NOAH as well. Something to note here is that’s there aren’t current challengers for the belts. Nosawa has said he wants challengers from Dragon Gate.

Katsuhiko Nakajima Captures the GHC Heavyweight Championship
In the main event of the evening, Katsuhiko Nakajima faced off against Naomichi Marufuji for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. This would mark Marufuji’s 3rd title defense as well. Nakajima and Marufuji put on an epic clash for the GHC heavyweight title. However, the result would be a major surprise, as Nakajima became the new GHC Heavyweight Champion.
This is the second time Katsuhiko Nakajima has held the GHC Heavyweight Championship and ends the curse of the Global League/N-1 Victory winners never winning their title matches. Nakajima’s first title match will be against Masato Tanaka, who has a victory over Nakajima from the opening round of the N-1 Victory. The title match between these two will take place on October 30th’s Demolition Stage.
