KC Navarro failed again
KC Navarro failed to become TNA International Champion, TNA X-Division Champion, and also TNA World Champion. The bell rang; Nic Nemeth slapped Navarro, and Navarro replied with a Superkick. Surprisingly, no Ryan Nemeth on the horizon… Nemeth targeted Navarro’s surgically repaired knee.
In the end, Nic Nemeth Superkicked Navarro. Navarro hit dropkicks to Nemeth’s spine, slammed into him with 305, and drove Nemeth down with Code Red. Navarro set up for another Blessing in Disguise, and Nemeth countered with the Danger Zone to secure the pinfall.
Thursday Night iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s Last Word(s)
And once again, it’s a huge yes. The Deletion match was insanely great (thank you, Eric Tompkins). KC Navarro’s loss is bittersweet, but he’s young and has to be patient because he will become Champion one day. The Knockouts tournament matches were great. If Jada Stone deserved the win, Wendy Choo and Elayna Black gained all my respect by being true professionals.
We could argue about why not a Three-Way match, with Choo, Black, and M by Elegance. The answer is TNA Lockdown and Xia Brookside. Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa are far from being the “Future” the company has been telling us about. Mustafa Ali was screwed, but Ali retaining would mean The Great Hands out of Order 4. Next week, Thursday Night iMPACT is live from Philadelphia, with the TNA International Championship match and the System vs. Sosa & Slater.
