TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Review (7/23/26) – Fatal Future

Wendy Choo or Elayna Black?

Before the match, TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside told Gia Miller she was not impressed by the tournament and warned Elayna Black. In a surprise ending, neither Elayna Black nor NXT’s Wendy Choo won the match as they reached the 10-minute limit. So, M by Elegance goes to the semifinals. The match was so damn good, but too good to allow one of the wrestlers to secure a pinfall.

After the match, TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside attacked Elayna Black. She dragged Elayna out of the ring and slammed her into the steel steps. Choo tried to interfere, and Brookside attacked Choo from behind. Choo and Black shook hands. Read Nygma’s mind: Xia Brookside + Elayna Black + Knockouts title + TNA Lockdown… You got it?

The System, “gatekeepers of TNA Wrestling”

The System hit the iMPACT Zone after Bear Bronson’s victory against Ricky Sosa, and TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander retained his title against Fabian Aichner last week. Brian Myers promised that the System’s dominance will always remain the same. Eddie Edwards considered The System as TNA Wrestling’s quality control. He hyped up his “Ride or Die” Alisha Edwards for her upcoming match.

Ricky Sosa interrupted him and reflected on his loss last week against Bear Bronson. He was confident that the reason he lost was Brian Myers’ interference. Edwards fired back, saying that Ricky Sosa refused to join The System. Leon Slater joined Sosa on the ramp and stated he has Sosa’s back. Leon Slater proposed a match against them right now in a tag match. Edwards said that he would talk to Director of Operations Daria Rae, so the match could happen next week, live in Philadelphia.

The Inelegant “Plus” match – Mr. Elegance vs. BDE

This is a TNA+ and AMC+ Exclusive matchup. When Rich Swann had enough class not to interfere, the Elegance Brand didn’t do the same. M by Elegance put Mr. Elegance’s foot on the bottom rope as BDE covered Mr. Elegance. BDE grabbed The Personal Concierge from behind, and Mr. Elegance seized the opportunity. He grabbed BDE and drove him down with Excusez Moi to secure the pinfall.
