Lucha Libre AAA Preview (7/4/26) – Former WWE World Champion Set to Debut

Lucha Libre AAA is back this week with another episode, with this one being the last episode of their recent tapings in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.  Things have been heating up on Lucha Libre AAA of late, as three different feuds are heating up, and there is a lot of bad blood to be had with many of these competitors. Here’s the full Lucha Libre AAA preview for July 4th, 2026.

The Surprise Former WWE World Champion is set to debut

Last week on Lucha Libre AAA, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio announced that the deal with the former WWE World Champion is close to being done and will be appearing on this week’s edition of Lucha Libre AAA. It was also mentioned that this mystery former world champion will be someone who will be making his first-ever appearance in an AAA ring.

With many different names it could be, it will be exciting to see who is revealed to be the new mystery signing to AAA and see what they can do for the AAA brand.

What is Next for Los Psycho Circus after Pagano was attacked?

Last week on Lucha Libre AAA, Los Psycho Circus sent a message to Pagano and were ready to finally determine that Pagano was the man who took out most of the Psycho Circus for months.

The group went backstage to confront Pagano in person and get payback for what they believed he had done. However, there was a twist: Los Psycho Circus found Pagano beaten down in his locker room, proving he was innocent.

The attackers would also leave a message on Pagano’s mirror that claimed that Psycho Clown is their next and final target.

This left many unanswered questions about who the attackers could be.

Could it be the revived Los Perros del Mal, especially as the two groups have had quite a bloody history with each other? Could it be a group that we haven’t seen on AAA TV yet? Only time will tell, and we’ll see if we get answers or even more questions on Lucha Libre AAA this week.

El Fiscal will face Abismo Negro Jr. in a rematch

El Fiscal and Abismo Negro Jr. will once again face each other in this week’s edition of Lucha Libre AAA.

El Fiscal and Abismo Negro Jr. have been feuding for a year, and it has yet to be resolved. The feud stems from the fact that El Fiscal is the actual son of the original Abismo Negro and thinks that the current Abismo Negro Jr. does not deserve it and has been tarnishing the name and legacy that El Fiscal’s father had built.

Abismo Negro Jr. disagreed with the sentiment that El Fiscal holds, and both men have been having quite a blood feud since then over the rights to the Abismo Negro name.

With the feud having been going on this long, the match may finally provide some form of resolution and conclusion to the feud, and both men can finally move on to other things.

There is also the possibility that, much like their other matches, it doesn’t resolve anything and leads to a full-on brawl that would once again leave them with no winner, much like their last match on Lucha Libre AAA a few weeks ago.

Flammer will take on Lady Shani in singles competition

The current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Flammer, is set to face off against Lady Shani on this week’s edition of Lucha Libre AAA.

Flammer is looking to get back in the win column after she and her Los Toxicas teammates lost to the team of Bayley, Lola Vice, and La Catalina in a six–woman tag team match on the second week of AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes special event.

This match will also mark Lady Shani’s return to AAA for the first time since January.

The last time that the two-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion has been seen on Lucha Libre AAA was quite a long time ago. The last time that Lady Shani was in an AAA ring was also against Flammer on the debut episode of AAA on Fox, where Shani lost to Flammer in 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

Will Lady Shani have a different result and get a big victory over Flammer? Will Flammer gain back momentum?

Lucha Libre AAA will air at 8 pm CST on Fox in Latin America and 10 pm EST on YouTube internationally.
