Bayley
Up next is Bayley, who would provide fantastic competition for the Women’s World Champion. Much like her tag team partner, Lyra Valkyria, Bayley can initiate the feud with Morgan by voicing her own frustrations about feeling unwanted and underutilized by the company.
Perhaps the most intriguing dynamic of a potential Bayley vs. Morgan feud is the striking similarity between the two. Much like Morgan, Bayley previously transitioned from a beloved, underdog babyface into a manipulative, faction-leading heel. In a hypothetical promo, Bayley could call out Morgan, dismissively labeling her a cheap version of her past self.
And let’s not forget their dramatic showdown at the 2024 Royal Rumble, where Bayley won the match by eliminating Morgan while setting a then-record for the longest time spent in a single Rumble. Factoring that history into the mix, the resulting promo segments would be absolutely epic. Bayley is a master at being fierce yet brutally honest on the microphone, promising the kind of must-see television that would keep fans glued to Monday Night Raw week after week.
Finally, given all of Bayley’s accomplishments in the ring, including her status as a Grand Slam Champion, defeating her is the exact kind of validation Morgan would crave to cement herself as one of the all-time greats.

IYO SKY
Rounding out our list is none other than IYO SKY. If there is any competitor who can truly test Morgan’s in-ring abilities to the absolute limit, it’s a phenomenal performer like SKY.
Following her standout Women’s World Championship defense at WrestleMania 41, it was a shock to see SKY left off the card entirely at this year’s event. Now, having ended her tag team partnership with Rhea Ripley and coming off an outstanding match at Backlash with Asuka, SKY is looking to claw her way back to the top of the main roster.
Over the past year, SKY has received immense praise, including from commentator Michael Cole, who claimed that SKY isn’t just the best female wrestler, but the best wrestler in the world, period. Morgan could use this as fuel in a promo segment with IYO, calling Cole’s bluff on Cole’s comments and claiming that she, not SKY, will prove who the real best wrestler in the world is.

A matchup between these two feels highly likely, especially with IYO SKY participating in this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament as a heavily favored contender. If SKY takes home the crown, it would set up the ultimate showdown at this year’s SummerSlam, taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the end, breathing new life into Liv Morgan’s current title reign isn’t about changing who she is, but about who steps up to face her. Throughout her career, she has consistently proven her ability to work seamlessly with a wide variety of performers.
Right now, Liv Morgan’s title reign needs a serious resurrection to get back on the right track. The company is not doing her any favors by keeping her stagnant in internal faction drama, or by having her wait around for the eventual return of Stephanie Vaquer. WWE isn’t presenting Morgan as a credible champion, but rather as a pretender who is just holding the place.
