Thursday Night iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s Last Word(s)
The action was good, but the episode was not the best. If I understood things correctly, KC Navarro and Xia Brookside are the new #1 contenders for the TNA International Championship and the TNA Knockouts World Championship, respectively. One is not a surprise; the other is a good one. KC Navarro really deserves it. And, in many ways, Xia Brookside, too.
We are a month away from TNA Slammiversary, and TNA Wrestling tiptoes its way to it. Then, it will give more attractiveness to the weekly show. You have to be there every week to understand what the company is cooking, to watch great action in the ring, to dig deep into the company’s soul. The AMC era is really something fascinating.

- Men’s Champions Challenge: Eric Young, Leon Slater, Frankie Kazarian, Elijah, and KC Navarro defeated TNA World Champion Mike Santana, TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander, TNA World Tag Team Champions Bear Bronson & Brian Myers, and TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali. KC Navarro pinned Mustafa Ali.
- Tessa Blanchard defeated Harley Hudson
- Santino Marella vs. NXT’s Stacks (w/ Arianna Grace)
- Fabian Aichner defeated Eddie Edwards via DQ.
- Knockouts Champions Challenge: Xia Brookside, Elayna Black, and Mara Sadé defeated TNA Knockouts World Champion Léi Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, the Elegance Brand. Xia Brookside pinned Léi Ying Lee.
