Thursday Night iMPACT Review (5/28/26) – Challenging the Champions

No Milan Miracle

Stacks was more than ready for his match against Santino Marella, as he told Gia Miller. Stacks cheated, as always. When Marella pulled out The Cobra, Arianna Grace interfered to prevent him from using The Cobra, and Stacks seized the opportunity to secure the pinfall.

Arianna Grace got into her father’s face after the match, and Stacks attacked him. Indi Hartwell rushed to the ring and protected Marella. Hartwell challenged Arianna Grace and Stacks to a match against herself and Santino Marella. Director of Operations Daria Rae interrupted her and made the match for next week.

Veni, Vedi, not Vinci

As I said, Fabian Aichner vs. Eddie Edwards was a dangerous in-ring debut. Eddie Edwards is not only a member of the System, but one of the best competitors in TNA Wrestling today. Aichner did a good job, but Alisha Edwards interfered behind the referee’s back and pulled Aichner’s throat-first into the ropes.

Mrs. AIP pulled a kendostick out from under the ring, and the referee ejected her from ringside. Aichner and Edwards met on the top turnbuckle, and Aichner drove Edwards down with a Butterfly Suplex. The remaining members of The System joined them ringside, and Aichner leveled them on the outside. Aichner locked Edwards in La Fina.

The System attacked Fabian inside the ring, and the referee called the match. The System continued their attack on Fabian Aichner, and TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander dropped Fabian Aichner with a Lumbar Check.

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
