Thursday Night iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s View
Champions 0 – Challengers 1
As I said in the preview, rivals were forced to reunite in a Champions Challenge. If an All-Star pins a Champion, he will receive a title shot based on the Champion they pin. I’ve never been a fan of matches with more than 4 wrestlers, but the stipulation could change many things.
In the end, Leon Slater dropped Ali in the centre of the ring, went for a cover, and Cedric Alexander broke it up. Kazarian dropped Alexander with a Guillotine Legdrop, connected with a DDT onto Brian Myers, and Bear Bronson answered with a Blackhole Slam. Elijah slammed into Bronson with a knee strike, Ali charged at Slater, and Slater avoided it.
Slater crashed down onto Ali with the Swanton 450, went for a cover, and Alisha Edwards interfered, putting Ali’s foot on the rope. Tasha Steelz slid the title belt into the ring. He charged at Ali with it, the referee disarmed Ali, and Slater dropped him with a Superkick. He tags in KC Navarro, who slammed down Ali with Blessing in Disguise to secure the pinfall.
Undeniable Tessa Blanchard
It was just Harley Hudson vs. Tessa Blanchard, no interference, nothing more. Blanchard targeted the legs. Hudson fired back with multiple strikes and dropped her with a Fallaway Slam. She slammed Blanchard with a Hip Attack. Blanchard replies with Double Knees into Hudson. The Buzzsaw did its job, and Blanchard secured the pinfall.
.@harleyhudsonx falls to a Buzzsaw from @T3SSABLANCHARD!
