Here is the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT preview of the May 21, 2026, episode. With five matches and a segment, this episode follows the recipe of a perfect show. And two PLE-worthy title matches are on the card. As TNA Wrestling announced its full 2026 schedule of live events and PLEs, we know that we are now on the road to TNA Slammiversary on June 28.
This may look like a long ride to the PLE, but it gives more reasons to watch Thursday Night iMPACT weekly on AMC (or TNA+). The show is now reuniting around 200K people every week on TV, so let’s get it on this way.
Last night on NXT, there was no content related to TNA Wrestling. If all the TNA titles are now back home, the partnership is not done. Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; observing what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. With that in mind, let’s now Nygma-dive into the episode.

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (5/21/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling
This week, TNA Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC is stacked with major championship implications and explosive confrontations. Steve Maclin and TNA World Champion Mike Santana go head-to-head for the TNA World Championship, Mustafa Ali defends the TNA International Championship against Chazz “Starboy” Hall, and chaos continues between The Righteous and The Hardys.
Director of Operations Daria Rae officially announced this rematch last week as TNA World Champion Mike Santana puts his title on the line against the dangerous Steve Maclin in a high-stakes main event fueled by intensity and unfinished business. Santana looks to continue his rise at the top, but Maclin is determined to tear through the champion and leave with the gold.
Mustafa Ali defends the TNA International Championship against Chazz “Starboy” Hall. With Order 4 watching closely, Ali aims to stay in control, but Starboy is looking to leave the world starstruck.

Elayna Black and Indi Hartwell go head-to-head in a highly anticipated showdown between two of the most confident and dangerous competitors in the Knockouts division.
Jada Stone and Xia Brookside collide in a high-speed Knockouts battle, with both competitors determined to rise through the division and claim the spotlight.
Matt Hardy and Vincent collide in a deeply personal showdown where chaos is guaranteed and escape won’t be an option. With Jeff Hardy and Dutch handcuffed to the ringside posts, both men will be forced to watch the war unfold as tensions between The Hardys and The Righteous reach a dangerous new level.
The System’s dominance continues on TNA Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC. With 2 Championships and control already in their possession, The System is ready to stake their claim and prove exactly why you can’t beat The System.
Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (5/21/26) – The Nygma’s View
Knockouts World Championship on the radar
Elayna Black faces Indi Hartwell, while Xia Brookside competes against Jada Stone. The two matches could easily be #1 contender bouts for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Elayna Black has requested a title chance since her arrival. She has had some matches, but cheated to win almost every time. Jada Stone has paved her way pretty well since her signing last year.
Indi Hartwell just signed a contract extension, and the Knockouts title is still on her mind. When it comes to Xia Brookside, the title would be the icing on a vengeance cake as Léi Ying Lee is her former tag-team partner. For these four ladies, winning would mean a step closer to the title. Nygma says: Yes, but Mara Sadè is also a good possible contender. And NXT’s Arianna Grace could ask for a rematch…
Personal matters
The System will kick off the show. They now have two TNA titles. For sure, they will remind us of that. Eddie Edwards made clear that he wants another World title chance. So, what could happen? Nygma says: The System attacked Moose, who could seek revenge. And there’s Fabian Aichner, who prevented Cedric Alexander from celebrating his TNA X-Division title win.

Broken Matt Hardy summoned Vincent for a match. Dutch defeated him when Jeff Hardy defeated Vincent. The Wicked Garden match is set for the June 4 episode. Jeff Hardy won because Broken Matt appeared. We know Brother Nero is near. Nygma says: I’m a very 2 + 2 = 5. In this situation, it’s a 2 + 2 = 4. Brother Nero appears, and Matt wins.
Becoming Champion
Mustafa Ali wants to be a true International Champion. He faced Adam Brooks, from Australia, in the iMPACT Zone. He should defend in France in July. WWE Evolve’s Chazz “Starboy” Hall is not any wrestler. He faced Lexis King on NXT in a WWE Men’s Speed Championship tournament match, and he was pretty impressive to watch. Nygma says: We talk about Order 4…
Before facing Eric Young, Mike Santana will have to retain the TNA World Championship against Steve Maclin. At TNA Sacrifice, Maclin was injured, and the title match was stopped. Now, he is cleared, and he will probably be angrier and hungrier than ever. Since TNA Rebellion 2024, the two have faced each other so many times. It will be a fantastic, but grueling match. Nygma says: I love Maclin, but the EY factor is letting me think Santana will retain.
I’ll see you on Friday with all the results and the review. TNA Wrestling officially announced that the Ultimate X and the Ladder matches will return at TNA Slammiversary. As I have already said many times, 2026 is a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
