After getting left off the WrestleMania 42 card, Tiffany Stratton and Women’s United States Champion Giulia had a chip on their shoulder, and they performed under the bright lights on the first WWE SmackDown after the “Showcase of the Immortals.” Stratton earned this shot after defeating Jordynne Grace in a convincing fashion just seven days prior.
The last Tiffany Stratton held gold was during the tail-end of 2025, where she lost the WWE Women’s Title to Jade Cargill in a devastating match that saw her get injured. As for Giulia, she has reigned supreme as Women’s United States Champion, accumulating 100+ days as champion. Earlier in the night, Giulia and Kiana James felt slighted that Giulia was left off the WrestleMania 42 card.
Tonight, Giulia and James were out to prove that the “Beautiful Madness” deserved to perform in front of a huge crowd, considering she is one of the best the company has to offer. To Giulia’s credit, in classic Giulia fashion, she put on one heck of a clinic against Tiffany Stratton. Sadly, Tiffany Stratton wanted to run the clock back and set it to Tiffy Time once again, and that’s precisely what happened in Fort Worth, Texas.
Giulia was in control for most of the match, absolutely dominating Stratton. The tides would turn when Kiana James tried to help Giulia. Stratton got distracted by James, and Giulia aimed to sucker punch her, but Tiffany got out of the way, leading to James getting laid out. Stratton would hit the Fireman’s Carry Rolling Senton, and as she was going for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Giulia would catch her, locking her in a Modified Rings of Saturn.
Stratton would get out of it, but would get hit with an Arrivederci Knee. Giulia would go for the kill, hoisting up Stratton for the Northern Lights Bomb, only for Stratton to counter, and hit the Alabama Slam, followed up by the PME to become #AndNEW Women’s United States Champion.
What a way to begin the new season of WWE, as Tiffany Stratton once again ushers in Tiffy Time as the WWE Women’s United States Champion!
