A Cleansed Return
Eric Young spoke to Gia Miller before the show. Change can be great, and he changed when EC3 didn’t. Meanwhile, EC3 was backstage, ready to finish what he started. Once in the iMPACT Zone, EY blindsided Carter and attacked him before the bell. Both men were inside the ring, but Young continued to bombard EC3 with multiple strikes and blows.
EC3 broke out of a chokehold and dropped Young. He then charged at Eric Young, sending both the referee and Eric Young outside, making the match a no-contest. EC3 dragged a steel chair from under the ring and swung it at Young. He avoided it and instead trapped EC3 with a chair around his neck. Young slammed him into the steel steps with the chair wrapped around his neck. Security and the referees tried to break it up, and Young tried to attack security, too.
