#2. Seth “Freakin” Rollins Crashes the Party and Ruins CM Punk’s Night
WrestleMania has not only served as the final chapter in epic rivalries, but it has also set the foundation for future storylines. For example, the Vision was born at Mania 41 when Paul Heyman sold his soul to Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Therefore, it is possible that Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk could give way to a newer storyline.
Rollins is currently embroiled in a feud with Gunther and is on a mission to destroy the Vision. However, the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion also announced his intentions to reclaim the title he never lost. The belt currently rests on the shoulder of Punk, who happens to be one of Rollins’ greatest rivals.
The Visionary despises both Reigns and Punk. However, Rollins is a cunning man who makes calculated decisions. Between Reigns and Punk, Rollins has a better win-loss record against the OTC. Furthermore, Reigns never completely got over Rollins’ betrayal.
Therefore, Rollins could crash Mania Sunday’s main event and help Reigns win the World Heavyweight Championship. The Visionary wouldn’t be doing Reigns a favor, as he would come calling for the title very soon.
