What’s Next for April 2026?
Aside from AEW Revolution, March wasn’t too exciting. Either that or I was burnt out and didn’t realize it. Of course, naturally, the shows were great and entertaining, but I didn’t leave frothing at the mouth like I used to.
AEW Dynasty leaves me questioning if I’ll walk out of that changing, but with the returns we’ve seen since then, I’m optimistic. Seeing Christian Cage and Adam Copeland return was awesome, but with Queen Aminata, Hikaru Shida, and Hurt Syndicate also back, things look to be shaken up at least.
I didn’t expect to include as many women this March, given their booking, yet here they were. Unexpectedly, this is the first time I’ve included MJF as well. I see that the division and the Long Islander’s title reign is going strong through the end of April. What I’d like to watch would be something new for the tag team title scene, in addition to more National title defenses from Jack Perry.
Come AEW Dynasty, I expect most titles to change hands, though I foresee Thekla and MJF still holding the gold.
