Did Sol Ruca Outlast Izzi Dame on 4/7 NXT?

The past couple of months have been chaotic for Sol Ruca. She ended 2025 on a high note, winning at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Bayley. However, that good luck hasn’t translated to 2026. Two months ago, she was betrayed by her best friend and tag team partner, Zaria. She was facing Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship when Zaria attacked her before the match began.

Jayne easily won, starting a rivalry between her and Zaria, who explained that she grew jealous of all her opportunities. At Stand & Deliver, they faced each other in a singles match. After three Sol Snatchers, Ruca ended up defeating her former partner. With Stand & Deliver over, what would be next for her? Would she be done with Zaria and move on to another opponent, or would their rivalry continue?

Zaria Helps Izzi Dame Defeat Ruca

After her match against Zaria, Ruca was confronted backstage by Izzi Dame, leading to a match on the April 8, 2026, episode of NXT. The match started with Dame hitting her with a flurry of offense. She elbowed her, kneed her in the stomach, and threw her to the ground. But Ruca got up, threw a kick of her own, and delivered a shoulder uppercut in the corner. She shoulder-dragged Dame to the ground, then flipped into a cover, but didn’t get the pinfall.

Afterward, she got Dame into a headlock, but after running the ropes, Dame knocked her down. She punched her, then speared her into the turnbuckle multiple times. But Ruca again got up, kicked Dame’s legs to make her fall, and slammed her face into the turnbuckle. Dame quickly recovered, but was hit with an X Factor and a kick to the outside, followed up with a springboard.

They got back in the ring, but a clothesline by Ruca knocked them down. They punched each other when they got up, but Ruca gained the advantage after a German suplex and a dropkick. A knee to Dame led to a cover, but she kicked out. After a failed cover with a backslide, Ruca speared Dame to the outside. She was going to jump on her, but Shawn Spears moved her out of the way.

That was when Zaria suddenly appeared, giving Ruca her own spear. Dame rolled her into the ring, hit the Dame Over, and won the match. Afterward, it was announced that Ruca and Zaria would compete in a Last Woman Standing match during week 2 of NXT Revenge in two weeks. It looks like the feud and the story between these two women is far from over.
