Potential NXT Call-Ups to the Main Roster After WrestleMania 42

They Will

Joe Hendry

Signing with WWE officially in November 2025, it did not take too much time for Joe Hendry to become a top star on the NXT brand. On the February 3 episode of WWE NXT, Hendry defeated Ricky Saints, Keanu Carver, Sean Legacy, Jackson Drake, Shiloh Hill, and Dion Lennox in a Ladder Match to win the NXT Championship. Two months later, at NXT Stand & Deliver, Tony D’Angelo defeated  Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page to become the new NXT Champion.

Hendry feels like one of the most popular stars in the company today and someone who would not look out of place on the main roster. He already appeared at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, as the TNA World Champion, and Randy Orton’s surprise opponent at WrestleMania 41. On the 26 December 2025 episode of SmackDown, Hendry made his main roster debut against The Miz.

Hendry is definitely a main-roster superstar in waiting. His entrance and theme would look magical in a stadium; we already noticed that last year at WrestleMania 41. WWE will likely be keen to showcase him on a bigger stage after WrestleMania 42, just for that.

Jacy Jayne (with or without Fatal Influence)

Jacy Jayne was sitting at the mountaintop of the NXT Women’s division as the reigning and two-time NXT Women’s Champion. At NXT Stand and Deliver, Lola Vice stopped that. Jayne’s run at the top of NXT may have come to an end, but the doors are now open for a main roster call.

Definitely able to have Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Lainey Reed transition to the main roster as a three-woman group, it could be that the entire group departs NXT. The only thing probably left for her faction is to split and have a heated storyline if Jayne were the only one called up.

Jayne stated a few days before NXT Stand and Deliver that she felt ready.

“I’ve been in NXT for about five years now. I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now. Everybody always loves to say that they’re ready and in reality, you’re not ready. It takes time to develop. It takes time to get confident and know your craft. I feel now, I’m ready. I know I can stand in the ring with anybody. I’m not intimidated. I can go with the best. So, I’m ready. Whenever they decide I’m ready, I’m going to be there, and I’m gonna take a spot and all of them should be ready.”

The Fatal Influence leader has beaten a who’s who of competitors during her two runs with the gold on the NXT brand, such as Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace, and Sol Ruca. Jayne has done it all and feels ready for the next stage of her career, where she could achieve even more greatness. Having debuted back in 2021, Jayne has everything it takes to become a top star on Raw or SmackDown.
