Once again, NXT didn’t disappoint last week. On the March 17th edition of NXT, Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley stole the show once again. They showed how much the Women’s North American Championship means to them by pushing each other to their limits inside a steel cage. Ultimately, Paxley picked up the victory, but former champion Blake Monroe made it clear she still has her eyes on the championship by attacking Paxley. As we move forward, we can hopefully see this rivalry unfold more.
Everyone in NXT has their eyes on gold. The tag team tournament to determine the new number one contenders continues this week. We can also expect to see a gauntlet match to determine who will be the number one contender for the Men’s North American Championship. Who do you want to see compete for these spots?

Last week, there was an important segment between Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Tony D’Angelo. Page admitted that he is looking to challenge Hendry for the NXT Championship, despite what Saints may have to say. During the bickering of the two, Tony D’Angelo came out and laid out everyone in the ring, including the NXT Champion, Joe Hendry.
When Tony D’Angelo returned in December, it was clear that we were seeing a different D’Angelo than we are used to. He’s back to be on top, where he feels like he rightfully belongs. D’Angelo is looking to become NXT Champion. In an attempt to settle some of this dispute, we will see Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo for the first time ever.
I do want to remind everyone that this is not a number-one-contender match. However, considering both men are looking to become champions, whoever wins will likely be closer to receiving a championship opportunity. Who do you want to see be the next challenger for Joe Hendry?
