#2. Gunther Goes After the Intercontinental Championship
Before Gunther became the “Career Killer,” the Ring General ruled his first few years on the main roster as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion. Gunther had a tremendous reign as the IC Champion, helping restore the workhorse title’s prestige.
Despite the impressive run Gunther has been on, WWE still doesn’t have a direction for him heading into WrestleMania. Although many wanted the Career Killer to fight for the World Championship, he could pursue the championship he had made relevant. The IC Title was instrumental in elevating his career, and the Ring General might want it back.
Furthermore, the Career Killer unmasked Dragon Lee, disrespecting the entire luchador family. Penta could step up for his fellow luchadors to put an end to Gunther’s reign of terror.
