What Did Jelly Roll Have to Say on 3/13 WWE SmackDown?

Country music star Jelly Roll is no stranger to WWE. He first appeared at SummerSlam two years ago, when he sang and gave chokeslams to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller with The Miz and R-Truth. The next time he showed up was a year later.

He entered a feud with Logan Paul on the July 11, 2025, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. That led to a friendship with Randy Orton and interference in his Saturday Night’s Main Event match against Drew McIntyre the next night.

Everything culminated in a SummerSlam match, where McIntyre and Paul defeated him and Orton. It was announced earlier in the week that he would return to SmackDown with five weeks until WrestleMania: Vegas. What would he be doing, and would it affect this year’s Mania plans in any way?

Jelly Roll Mixes Things Up with Kit Wilson and the Miz

It was clear that at some point in time, Jelly Roll would be returning to WWE. The company was very happy about his match at SummerSlam. It turns out that he would be returning for Miz TV. But the Miz had some problems of his own to deal with. Last week, Danhausen wanted him to be his mentor.

He refused, then he got cursed by Danhausen. This week, the two met up once again. Danhausen wanted his own TV show, which the Miz denied. He then got cursed for the second week in a row.

After that, he went into the ring for Miz TV, and his microphone wasn’t working. He got a new one and introduced Jelly Roll. They sat down, and the Miz hyped him. He wanted to mentor him, but got rejected. In response, he talked about Jelly Roll’s redemption and how he picked him up after falling at SummerSlam two years ago.

Jelly Roll yelled at him, saying he took credit for his weight loss. When things got really heated, Kit Wilson came out fresh off a storyline with Oba Femi.

Jelly Roll said everyone liked him, but he didn’t like that. He said his weight loss was due to his being fatphobic and that he was toxic. They got in each other’s face, then Wilson shoved Jelly Roll. The Miz held him back, attempting to calm him down.

But he ducked out of the way when Jelly Roll threw a punch, hitting the Miz instead. He left the ring and dragged the Miz out of the ring as well. Jelly Roll has picked up a few enemies. Was this a one-off appearance or will they be potential WrestleMania opponents?
