One night and one sleep away from AEW Revolution (the preview for which you can find here), AEW Collision offers us Dynamite overspill, final build, and some next steps in evolving feuds.
With a near-complete card announced and graphics dropped, we’ve got plenty of bangers and last-minute angles to look forward to. As predicted, The Jet, Kevin Knight, isn’t taking things easy. Injured from last week or not, there’s enough men/meat in the Don Callis Family for a singles match. Taking on the enigmatic El Clone, expect more than a spot-fest. Hologram’s Doppelganger’s unique offence against the height and athleticism of Knight has sky-high potential.

Elsewhere, Callis Family member and AEW World Trios Champion, Mark Davis, fights Kommander. Will we learn more about Konosuke Takeshita’s refusal to follow Callis’ plan on Wednesday?
Additionally, Tommaso Ciampa may be revealed, along with who else will participate in the Zero Hour 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW National Championship. There will be more of Ricochet’s trios to match. Moreover, there will be plenty of women’s action, with the potential for some last-minute pushes for a card with three women’s matches on the main PPV. Four, if you include Zero Hour.
The TBS Title stays with @willowwrestles, and she’s already looking ahead to #AEWRevolution with a challenge for Lena Kross!

Women’s Action and Build
After an impressive first match last week, Colossal Lena Kross will wrestle her AEW debut singles match. Taking on veteran and fan favourite, Mina Shirakawa, can the relative newcomer score the upset? Given Kross’s size and prowess, upset might not be the right word. Especially given that Kross herself has two championship opportunities at Revolution. The Australian, like other PWA wrestlers and alumni, has been gaining momentum and notice in the past few months. This feels like the newcomers’ match to lose.
There may be some crossover or interference if Marina Shafir again has something planned to infantilise “Timeless” Toni Storm ahead of Sunday night? Previously, Shafir sent Shirakawa flowers. Shafir sends this time might be funeral lilies rather than roses for romance. Collision is “Timeless” Toni Storm’s show. Expect more pearls of wisdom or a broken pearl necklace. It’s nice to see the AEW women’s spotlight widened.
Plus, with The Triangle of Madness in action, plus words from Kris Statlander, let’s hope the AEW Women’s World Championship match gets the final big angle it deserves.

The Demand vs. The Bang Bang Gang
When The Demand takes on The Bang Bang Gang, you know this match is guaranteed to be a fun, character-driven affair. The unit of Austin Gunn, Ace Austin, and Juice Robinson is going to infuriate Ricochet and the GOA. Ace Austin, especially, has had some impressive outings in all kinds of contests this year. Expect all three to take turns slapping Ricochet’s bald head.
With the GOA’s penchant for power and big hits, expect bumps aplenty. As for the AEW National Champion, Ricochet, expect cowardice and bravado, and if we’re lucky, more hints at his battle royal title defence. Issues with Jungle Jack Perry have persisted. Before, during, or after, Ricochet might learn that Sunday night will be his hardest title defence yet.
