Returning to Old Pueblo with a huge party match, a $200K 4-way tag match, AEW Collision is going to bring more than the party to the desert. Again, my predictions about the AEW World Trios Championship proved right. However, once again, AEW had it unfold on Dynamite this week rather than wait for Saturday night. With new AEW World Trios champions, expect Don Callis to have a lot to brag about.
Considering elsewhere, Konosuke Takeshita will take on Claudio Castagnoli, so you should ensure you are sitting comfortably. A rematch from Cardiff’s Winter is Coming Collision, where the blistering match ended with a draw. Other attendees and I were on our feet, hooked. Who will break through?
After accepting Brody King’s challenge, Swerve Strickland ambushed, chained up, and choked King like a dog. Saturday, AEW’s Most Dangerous takes on Gravity, Bandido’s brother, in what could be both violent and a setup for something special next week.
Plus, another big AEW World championship defence! The Rascalz’s first few months in AEW have been an action-packed highlight reel. With a victory in an eliminator match over FTR, plus that chaotic High Mile Madness, Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier fight for gold. Whilst it won’t be easy to smoke the competition, they upset the status quo once. Given the frequency of title changes of late, you don’t quite know.
What an INSANE first month at AEW!🙏🏼🙌🏼💚
From our debut match to a parking lot brawl to pinning the AEW World Tag Team Champions and earning a future championship match to a Mile High Madness Match that earned us our first ever 5 Stars, I’m having the time of my life! I’d say… pic.twitter.com/Ru9TRu3aEm

$200K 4-Way Tag Team Match
It’s been a while since the last big-money tag team match-up. Always fun, and always purposeful in terms of both the big and subtle character and storyline developments, expect something significant. That’s not necessarily exclusive to the winners, either. A clash of styles, ethos, and characters, we’re going to be treated to the range of AEW’s tag team division.
The newly returned Private Party gave a great performance on Dynamite a few weeks ago. However, that contest included the team that historically brought out their best in The Young Bucks. Can the team make the most of this shot? The Baked Apple doesn’t have the party scene that the Big Apple has.
On ROH, The Swirl, with new mentor Jay Lethal, has been mixing things up. High-flying but sneaky and never afraid to take shortcuts. Blake Christian and Lee Johnson could be on their way to breaking out in 2026. All that’s needed is one big win.

LFI has previously made their intentions of getting an AEW Trios Championship match clear. The team previously lost to the trio in August. Denied a show several weeks ago, a big-money victory could be a springboard back to title contention. RUSH brings an uncompromising violence to this match. Dralistico has unhinged flair that will match the other high-flyers.
Finally, there’s The Outrunners. The youngest men alive, who like to cosplay as cigarette packaging, have won a big-money contest before. Expect humour and fun, but could they surprise their opponents with the victory? Can they smoke the rest of the pack?
Ultimately, this might be a wacky affair, but one that suits the residents of the Sunshine Factory. To repurpose a quote from infamous resident, Jackie Daytona, this is how we fight in Tucson, Arizona.
