The Road to WrestleMania is paved with many opportunities. PLEs, such as the WWE Elimination Chamber, present wrestlers with an opportunity to secure a spot in a World Championship match at the Show of Shows. A chance to enter and win the Elimination Chamber is the biggest draw for wrestlers all over the world.
Winning the Elimination Chamber is the ultimate prize for wrestlers entering into the titular match, but for those who don’t, there are other ways to stand out. Throughout history, numerous wrestlers have stepped into the chamber match—wrestlers who haven’t won the match but have put on performances for the ages. Below, we will look at some of these performances from Elimination Chamber history.
Braun Strowman (2018)
Braun Strowman’s star was on the rise in 2018. He had always had the look to be successful, but he was now connecting with the audience. He was the monster that WWE needed him to be, and when he stepped into the Elimination Chamber, the monster was unleashed.
The field for the Men’s Elimination Chamber was one of its deepest, making what Strowman did that much more incredible. For over 36 minutes, Strowman dominated a field consisting of John Cena, Elias, Finn Balor, The Miz, and Seth Rollins.
Getting the pinfall over just one of these men would be impressive, let alone defeating all of them. Strowman was a man possessed as he powered his way through 5 of the best WWE had to offer. It was a bit of a shame that he cleared the field for Roman Reigns to go over, but that shouldn’t take away from the job Strowman did.
