WWE NXT Results and Review (2/17/26) – Ego Injuries

The Vanity Project will face DarkState for the NXT Tag Team Championship

The Vanity Project defeated OTM, Hank & Tank, and the Culling to win the thrilling Fatal 4-Way Match (how hard it is to type that…). The match was pure chaos as all four teams gave it their all, but Shawn Spears found himself the victim of a vicious Double Stomp. As the teams waged war on the outside, Ricky Smokes wisely shoved Brad Baylor on top of the lifeless Spears, giving Vanity Project their biggest win yet.

ZaRuca and Fatal Influence

Zaria told Sol Ruca she was done with their friendship. In the ring, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne said she was jealous of Sol Ruca. Whatever Jayne does, Sol Ruca has amazing matches. “She is a bigger star than I,” stated Jayne. She told us about all her successes in NXT and WWE. Jayne works tirelessly when Sol Ruca has all the glory. Jayne added that Sol Ruca sacrificed her best friend to succeed. But, “Enough is enough.”

Sol Ruca made her way to the ring and said she wondered why Jayne needed to compare herself to her. Ruca promised to snatch Jayne’s soul and become the new NXT Women’s Champion. Fatal Influence attacked Sol Ruca. They offered Zaria a chance to destroy her friend. Instead, she destroyed Fatal Influence. ZaRuca is forever.

The Men’s Speed Tournament Final ended controversially when neither Eli Knight nor Elio LeFleur could beat the clock. NXT interim General Manager Robert Stone announced that both Superstars would advance to a Triple Threat Match against Speed Champion Jasper Troy.
