4. Bray Wyatt Wins the WWE Championship (Elimination Chamber 2017)
John Cena won his record-equaling 16th WWE World Championship at the 2017 Royal Rumble, but his title reign was short-lived. He entered the Elimination Chamber, a couple of weeks later, kicking things off with AJ Styles. However, Cena was eliminated by Bray Wyatt, guaranteeing a new WWE Champion.
Wyatt and AJ Styles were the final two competitors. The Eater of Worlds avoided the Phenomenal Forearm, and he put Styles away with Sister Abigail to win the WWE Championship for the first time. Despite Wyatt being a heel, the fans cheered Wyatt’s long-awaited and thoroughly deserved WWE Championship win.
3. Triple H Wins the WWE Championship (No Way Out 2009)
Jeff Hardy eliminated Edge early on in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship at No Way Out 2009. This was an exciting prospect as a new WWE Champion was guaranteed. Triple H, The Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Big Show, and Vladimir Kozlov were left to slug it out to see who would succeed the Rated-R Superstar as the new WWE Champion.
The Cerebral Assassin had a good outing here, and fans were delighted to see him and fellow veteran The Undertaker go toe-to-toe. Both showcased their resilience by kicking out of each other’s respective finishers. Ultimately, Triple H delivered a second Pedigree, which was enough to win his 13th WWE world championship and extend his record to four victories inside the Elimination Chamber. With the win, he also became the only man to win both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships inside the Elimination Chamber.
