The powers that be were very vocal about the fact that Daniel Bryan would never reach the heights that we all wanted him to. And they stopped at nothing to make sure that he wouldn’t rise above.
Against all odds, and with the help of a fan-inspired takeover, Daniel Bryan tapped out Batista to close WrestleMania as the WWE Champion. It was a massive moment for everyone as it was a victory not just for Bryan but for all of us. The WWE fans’ support turned the tide of Daniel Bryan’s career, and we got to see a man who was never going to break the glass ceiling smash through it.
