Mike Santana and The System 2.0
TNA World Champion Mike Santana took over the iMPACT Zone. He said he understands the weight that comes with being the TNA World Champion. He knows he has a target on his back, but after what happened earlier today, the last thing he expected was to lose one of his closest friends because of it. The System assaulted Mike Santana, and The Hardys rushed to aid him. Moose appeared behind The System, ready to even out the odds and dish out some vengeance. Moose threw Cedric Alexander over the ropes to wipe out The System.

The Best of the Rest
- Former World Champion Frankie Kazarian was not content with the fact that Mike Santana holds the TNA World Championship Title. Kazarian respects Santana, but doesn’t view him as the face of TNA like himself. He is ready to be the TNA World Champion again. Then, we saw Kazarian and Daria Rae agreeing on something.
- Mara Sadè and Ryan Nemeth found a way to settle their differences. They faced off in multiple athletic challenges to see who the superior athlete truly is. Nemeth ate another superkick.
- Eric Young made an offer to BDE. He will have to answer next week.
The Nygma’s Last Word(s)
It wasn’t a great one, obviously. Trey Miguel did magic. The Angel Warriors and Xia Brookside killed it. Mike Santana was good as the man everyone loves to hate. Then, the rest is forgettable. What intrigued me the most was Daria Rae announcing Leon Slater at TNA No Surrender. Because I’m not sure the visa issues are solved, I see here a door wide open for Kazarian to weaken Santana.
That’s all for the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT results of the week. The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here. The show known as “TNA iMPACT” changed to “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT.” Whatever, iMPACT is and remains what it has always been, TNA Wrestling’s flagship weekly show.
We are just at the beginning of 2026, and TNA Wrestling is already on fire. Have you read my interview with TNA Announcer Matthew Rehwoldt? Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.
