Paths Liv Morgan Could Take on the Road to WWE WrestleMania 42

Prediction

Ultimately, all signs point to Liv Morgan choosing Stephanie Vaquer to reclaim the WWE Women’s World Championship. There is a compelling narrative in seeing Morgan attempt to recapture the title she held for 226 days, while simultaneously attempting to do what her ally, Raquel Rodriguez, could not: defeat Vaquer.

This decision will almost certainly intensify the friction that has been brewing within The Judgement Day for months. The first cracks began to show in June 2025 following Morgan’s hiatus due to injury, and this move begs the question: Is this the moment Morgan finally abandons the faction to reclaim her status as a solo powerhouse?

We saw clear evidence of Morgan prioritizing her own ambitions over her allies when she ruthlessly eliminated Raquel Rodriguez during the Royal Rumble last weekend. This move raises a pivotal question: Does she now view “her family” as an obstacle preventing her from reclaiming what she believes is rightfully hers?

Online speculation has fans clamouring for a different, perhaps more intriguing scenario: a rematch with Vaquer where Raquel Rodriguez walks away with the title, setting up a high-stakes showdown between the two Judgement Day allies. In contrast, Vaquer’s successful defense on Raw makes this outcome less likely now; such a civil war between Morgan and Rodriguez would have made for an edge-of-your-seat battle.

In the likely Morgan vs. Vaquer clash, two outcomes seem most probable. Morgan will reclaim the gold, likely through the calculated interference of The Judgement Day. More intriguingly, however, Rodriguez could cost Morgan the title as payback for the Royal Rumble elimination and her unwanted interference during the Vaquer match on this past Monday’s Raw.

This would effectively ignite the Morgan vs. Rodriguez grudge match fans are dying to see, just without the championship on the line. Even more intriguingly, could that bout be the moment we see a Morgan babyface turn?

Whether Liv Morgan chooses to hunt down the anticipated target in Stephanie Vaquer or makes the unexpected pivot to Jade Cargill, both matchups promise a main-event spectacle.

Yet the real danger may not be the enemy that stands across from Morgan in the ring, but the allies lurking behind her. WrestleMania 42 will either be the night Liv Morgan cements her legacy with a career-defining moment or a night of total devastation at the hands of those she once trusted most.
