A surprise WWE Title change led us to this match, which should prove to be a fantastic one featuring a Scottish Psychopath and Ultimate Underdog. A contest that features two men who deserve to be the WWE Champion, but only one can hold the prize when it’s all said and done.
McIntyre and Zayn are going to play their roles perfectly here, with McIntyre beating Samy Zayn down as much as he can. The ground swell of support is going to carry Zayn through, and we can assume that a massive comeback is going to have the crowd going nuts. It’s going to be a fast-paced, back-and-forth match, and WWE has done a great job of giving Zayn all the support that they can.
It’s hard to pick a winner here. The world wants to see Sami Zayn finally win the big match, but Drew McIntyre is only weeks into a reign that took him years to achieve. The Royal Rumble is the time for stories to start, not finish, and that’s what is going to happen here. Drew McIntyre is going to cheat his way to victory, breaking out hearts but fuelling Sami Zayn for WrestleMania season.
