In a shocking twist of events, Trey Miguel has returned to the iMPACT Zone. As revealed on the latest Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC LIVE from Albuquerque, NM, Trey Miguel has re-signed with TNA Wrestling. The former TNA X-Division and World Tag Team Champion returned in the high-risk, high-reward Feast or Fired match, securing briefcase #4. The contents of his briefcase will be revealed next week.
Miguel and his Rascalz friends signed with AEW, but only Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Dezmond Xavier appeared on TV. Miguel later revealed that he was released by AEW, just a few days after signing. He announced that he was taking time off from wrestling. It happened to be a short break.

TNA Wrestling is Trey Miguel’s home
Trey Miguel and The Rascalz made their TNA Wrestling debut in 2018. Before being officially signed, Miguel competed in a few tryout matches in 2017. In November 2020, it was revealed that The Rascalz would soon be leaving the company. The Impact locker room even gave the Rascalz a “send-off”. Miguel confirmed that he, Xavier, and Wentz were, in fact, done appearing on Impact Wrestling. Xavier and Wentz went on to sign with WWE while Miguel remained a free agent.
Miguel made a surprise return to TNA in 2021. He began a heated high-level feud with Callihan, based on Callihan’s theory that Miguel couldn’t survive without Xavier and Wentz. Miguel would get tormented by Callihan in many ways, including being constantly told he “lost his passion.” He quickly became a 2- time X-Division Champion.
In June 2023, Zachary Wentz returned to TNA Wrestling. Together, they quickly became TNA World Tag Team Champions. Myron Reed and Dezmond Xavier joined him back in 2025, reuniting the Rascalz. Now, in 2026, Trey Miguel is once again on his own in TNA Wrestling. We have to hope he didn’t grab the briefcase holding a title chance, and not the infamous Pink Slip, which means he would be fired from the company.
I planned to step away from wrestling after the week I went through. It was really hard on me mentally and emotionally. I didn’t think I could do it anymore. Thank you to everyone who had my back, especially @ThisIsTNA. It was hard not to quit. But we can’t give up. Thank you God
