WWE NXT Results (01/20/26) – Tony D’Angelo Had Nothing to Say

The January 20, 2026, edition of WWE NXT emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. The 2026 version of NXT is one in the making. The Vanity Project, Sena Legacy, Eli Knight, and Keanu Carver are now taking over Tuesday nights. Jaida Parker is back. NXT General Manager Ava decided the new NXT Champion will be determined in a 6-Man Ladder match on February 3. Five qualifying matches will take place this week and next week, as Ricky Saints is already qualified.

Last week, NXT talents made their presence felt at the Thursday Night iMPACT premiere and TNA Genesis. Stacks retained the TNA International Championship, while Zaria competed against Léi Ying Lee for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Zaria may have come up short, but she really showed that she is a true champion in mind.

Five matches were advertised for this NXT episode. Ethan Page puts the North American title on the line against the French Luchador, Elio LeFleur. The #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship will be determined in NXT, as WrenQCC, Fatal Influence, and ZaRuca will face off.

Also, Josh Briggs vs. Shiloh Hill and Sean Legacy vs. Eli Knight will be the first qualifying matches for the NXT Championship Ladder match. The Vanity Project competes against Chase U. Because TNA is involved, let’s Nygma dive into what happened last night.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
