Becky Lynch and Asuka made history at the 2020 Royal Rumble as they became the first pair of women to have a rematch at the Royal Rumble. This time in their 2020 encounter, Lynch entered as the WWE (RAW) Women’s Champion, and the Empress of Tomorrow was the challenger. Furthermore, Asuka was bidding to become a double Champion, as she was one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Kairi Sane.
Lynch and Asuka’s clashes are fascinating, and unsurprisingly, they knocked it out of the park in a competitive women’s world championship match. Asuka failed to blind Lynch with the green mist, and the Man continued her championship reign by applying the Dis-Arm-Her, leaving Asuka no choice but to submit.
