Sports. Honestly. Since 2011

NXT 2025 Year-End Awards Results (12/30/25) – And The Winners Are

Female Superstar of the Year: Sol Ruca

Four would deserve the award. Blake Monroe has only been on NXT for seven months, but she has already made a strong impact. Jacy Jayne is the NXT Women’s Champion and a former TNA Knockouts Champion. Kelani Jordan hasn’t held an NXT title in 2025, but is also a former TNA Knockouts Champion. And there’s Sol Ruca, someone I barely knew about a few months ago. Watching her wrestling is a huge slap in the face.

She is the future, what the NXT fans noticed as they chose her. At WWE Saturday Night Main Event XLII, she defeated an NXT alumna, Bayley. She is the longest-reigning WWE/NXT Women’s Double Champion in history, as the WWE Women’s Speed Champion and NXT Women’s North American Champion. Her main roster call should come faster than we think.

Moment of the Year: Tatum Paxley wins the NXT Women’s Championship

Being NXTNA, I honestly was hesitating between the NXT vs. TNA brawl and The Hardy Boyz winning the NXT Tag Team titles. Tatum Paxley’s win moved the fans. Since day one, Paxley has embraced being the outcast. After trying to fit in, Paxley finally embraced her misfit side, and she began to see success in the ring as a direct result.

The peculiar Paxley is often seen backstage playing with her creepy dolls that seem to resemble her fellow NXT Superstars. She finally found a home in The Culling alongside Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame. That boosted her to winning the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025. That win didn’t please The Culling, who let her down and became her foes.

Best PLE/Show of the Year: “Stand & Deliver”

Despite being described as a “chaotic” PLE, the fans chose the WrestleMania 41 weekend PLE. As I said earlier, I haven’t watched it. The fans made a choice, and I can only respect it. I’m a rookie at the NXT Results game, so I’ll do better in 2026.

I’ll see you next week for NXT New Year’s Evil 2026, as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, enjoy the last hours of 2025. May the Nygma be with you.

NXT New Year’s Evil 2026 Card (01/06/2026)

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
