AEW’s Road to Revolution: What to Look for Post-World’s End

Jon Moxley Wins CC and is NOT a Babyface, What Now?

“Jackson, Tyson, Jordan, Game 6.” Jay Z can now add John Moxley in big matches to that lyric.

If Hangman Page is the main character of AEW, then Moxley is the heart and soul. AEW is nowhere near where it is today without Mox. He is the blood that pumps through the company. It was awe-inspiring to see the journey through the tournament with the looming threat of the Death Riders turning on him. Now that that is behind him, how can they possibly add to his story now that he is a full-fledged babyface again?

Moxley, famous for never taking a break, will undoubtedly be at Revolution defending the Continental title. Who will that be against? It won’t be against Kazuchika Okada, as he will be too busy feuding with Konosuke Takeshita. Is this finally where the Death Riders take on the Don Callis Faily in gang warfare? However, I think that there was a reason why it was teased that the Death Riders might turn on him.

Tony Khan and creative teased the Death Riders turning on him for months. There has to be a payoff. Can this new angle of Moxley thinking AEW saved contradict what the rest of the Death Riders believe? Revolution would be the perfect place to explore that.
