AEW’s Road to Revolution: What to Look for Post-World’s End

Where is Samoa Joe, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland Headed On the Way to AEW Revolution?

All three of these former AEW World Champions are the next hurdles for MJF in his second title reign. The only question that remains is if there will be hurdles before or at Revolution. Samoa Joe has openly discussed retirement in some interviews.

Tony Khan wanted to do him a solid and give him one last major championship reign before that happens. Joe will more than likely exercise his rematch clause, but his chances of winning are slim to none. He won’t be at Revolution.

Swerve is going to be a champion again, and it’s a matter of when, not if. The best scenario for Swerve to win the title would be for him to get his All In moment and win his title there. Out of the three who are listed in the four-way match, he is the last to confront MJF. I could see Swerve feuding with MJF before All In.

The most likely match for MJF at Revolution is Hangman. The entire reason MJF cashed in his title shot at World’s End was to beat Hangman for the title and do it in front of his two biggest nemesis. He wanted to hurt the Cowboys, and Page won’t take that lying down.
