WWE Superstar LA Knight has become one of the most renowned personalities in professional wrestling, boasting a strong and loyal fan base. He has made his ascendancy mostly through his own tenacity and rapport with audiences as opposed to a well-thought-out creative strategy.
Having left the character of Max Dupri behind, LA Knight reinvented himself and also enjoyed a resurgence of his career. His cutthroat promotion techniques and charismatic presence soon drew fans, and he rose the ladder naturally, becoming one of the big names in WWE programming.

Associations with Diamond Dallas Page Surface
LA Knight’s late-career breakout has drawn comparisons to WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page, who enjoyed his greatest success later than most of his peers. Although Page was one of the most well-known stars of his time, most of his fans feel that he never got the mainstream focus on his career that he so aptly merited in the long run.
Some observers can see similarities in the way WWE has managed Knight, in that although he has been able to draw crowd response and momentum, he has yet to be regularly slotted in the upper-level storylines.
Diamond Dallas Page is a Firm Supporter of LA Knight
Diamond Dallas Page has accepted the fact that his career and the career of Knight are similar and has made it known that he does not want history to repeat itself. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Page marveled at the hard work and perseverance of Knight, and noted the length of time he had taken to develop the persona he was in the present day.
Page told of LA Knight that he was never a one-dimensional person, but became another dimension once he realized his character. He also gave him optimism that Knight can succeed, provided that he gets an actual chance to be at the top, given that Knight has it all to succeed in a big position.
Dealing with Criticism and Creative Identity
Claims that Knight imitates the past wrestling stars were also rejected by Page, who termed such criticisms as misguided. He has described Knight as a combination of forces of legends that preceded him, conditioned through the experience of growing up and observing the business. Diamond Dallas Page argues that Knight has taken such inspirations and made them something genuine at the pinnacle of the industry.
The Hall of Famer went so far as to say that he had sent Knight an article himself, thoughtfully comparing their career achievements, acknowledging how similar the paths they both followed were.
Having a respected Hall of Famer behind them and their fans by their side, the future of LA Knight is the subject of a lot of discussion among wrestling fans. There is still a lot of hope that WWE will take advantage of his momentum and provide him with the long-term push that his performances and popularity warrant.
