1. Edge
The legendary feud between John Cena and Edge kickstarted in 2006 when the Rated-R Superstar cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on a battered and bruised Cena at New Year’s Revolution 2006. Edge’s maiden WWE Championship reign lasted just three weeks, with Cena regaining the title at the 2006 Royal Rumble.
That wasn’t the only time that Edge unseated John Cena for a world championship. He ended two further World Heavyweight Championship reigns of Cena’s. At No Way Out 2009, as a surprise entrant, he removed Kofi Kingston from the equation. Edge went on to eliminate Rey Mysterio to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Lastly, Cena dropped the World Heavyweight Championship to the Rated-R Superstar in a Last Man Standing match at Backlash 2009. Edge became the first man in history to beat Cena for a world championship three times.
