The Elite Five: The Most Recent Female WWE Grand Slam Winners

  1. Rhea Ripley   April 1, 2023

Demiti Bennett began her career in 2013 in the Australian and Japanese wrestling circuits before relocating to the United States to look for greater opportunities. Her in-ring debut came on July 13, 2017, at the first-ever WWE Mae Young Classic. She was defeated in the second round but emerged with a new stage name: Rhea Ripley.

She was immediately signed to the NXT brand and would win her first championship on August 26, 2018, becoming the inaugural WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion after defeating Toni Storm.

“The Nightmare” quickly gained momentum, appearing on WWE Monday Night Raw on March 22, 2021, where she defeated Asuka in a non-title bout. Less than a month later, Ripley again faced Asuka but in a championship bout at WrestleMania 37, where she would win the Raw Women’s Championship.

At the age of 26, Ripley became the youngest Grand Slam Champion on April 1, 2023, after defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.

Ripley is a six-time champion and is tied with Bayley for the longest title reign of the Women’s World Heavyweight Champion at 380 days. She is the only female wrestler to have held all five of the title belts across Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK.
