During the first few years of Survivor Series, WWE only promoted the titular matches for the event. The biggest stars and most interesting combinations of wrestlers were paraded out for the world to get excited over. Of them, one of the best was the pairing that comprised the Hulkamaniacs at Survivor Series 1989.
Hulk Hogan, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and Demolition were the most over stars in WWE. They represented all that was great about babyfaces during the Golden Era. They worked well together as a team and were the highlight over the heel team that stood across from them. The Hulkamaniacs were the biggest names on the biggest team.
