John Cena's final Raw match graphic for WWE Raw tonight at Raw at MSG

John Cena Confirms He Will be in Action for Final Raw on Monday at MSG

There had been some speculation that John Cena’s final Raw, live from Madison Square Garden (MSG) on Monday, November 17, would see the 17-time world champ and current Intercontinental Champion in action.

Well on Friday, the man himself confirmed it, posting the following on X: Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGardenring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on@netflix at 8pm ET!

While Cena’s opponent is unknown, it seems likely he will be defending his newly won belt. After all, Cena has always been a fighting champion and it only feels right for him to go out defending his new title in each of his last three appearances. There is no shortage of wrestlers on the roster that could step up for an open challenge including former foes and guys Cena has never faced, all for the opportunity to try to win a title and etch their names in the history books as John Cena’s final Raw match in one of the most historic venues in the world.

In addition to John Cena’s final Raw, also advertised for WWE’s return to MSG is the continuation of the Last Time is Now Tournament where Gunther will take on NXT’s Je’Von Evans and Solo Sikoa will face a mystery opponent. In addition, Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.
