#1: Closing WrestleMania 20 with Chris Benoit
If there is a moment in WWE that will forever be remembered by fans, it’s the ending of WrestleMania 20. The ending of that event saw Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit embracing one another as they held their respective gold. Much like Guerrero, Benoit also accomplished his dream of becoming World Heavyweight Champion. The moment that happened, Guerrero came in the ring emotionally, leading to him and Benoit hugging each other as they finally reached the mountain top.
Seeing two men who are considered the greatest technical wrestlers in the sport become champions was a touching sight for fans to see. Neither Benoit nor Guerrero was expected to become main event stars, but when they did, it was a moment for fans to enjoy and continue reflecting on today. In fact, Benoit and Guerrero’s celebration is considered one of the greatest moments not only at WrestleMania, but in professional wrestling overall.
